Tassie oak trees grow up to 90 metres in height. Tasmanian oak is generally a warm, light toned Australian hardwood timber with a dense, even grain; it is a distinctive and beautiful wood. Each Tasmanian oak timber letter opener is handcrafted by an artisan who hand turns each one on a lathe in North Brisbane.
