Slimline Wooden Mechanical Pencil - Tasmanian Oak Timber

This pencil is handcrafted from Tasmanian oak timber. Tasmanian oak refers to three eucalypt species commonly found in Tasmania, as well as alpine regions in Victoria and NSW. Tassie oak trees grow up to 90 metres in height. Tasmanian oak is generally a warm, light toned Australian hardwood timber with a dense, even grain; it is a distinctive and beautiful wood.

This wooden mechanical pencil is created by an artisan who hand turns each pencil on a wood lathe in North Brisbane. Using a meticulous thirteen step sanding and polishing process and 10 coats of CA we highlight the simple, innate beauty of the Tasmanian oak timber and create an exceptional, super glossy and durable finish. The natural uniqueness in the woodgrain and timber colour variations, means that each bespoke pencil we create are one of a kind.

Need it personalised? We personalise timber pens, pencils and wooden pen boxes. Type the exact word or initials needed along with your font suggestion in the text box provided to a maximum of 25 letters and spaces. We will contact you to confirm your engraving prior to it being laser engraved. Please specify if the pencil engraving is for a left or right hander.
