The Classic pen range showcases sleek, modern styling with classy fittings and a comfortable, well balanced grip. 

This pen is created from Australian mango timber. Not only does the mango tree provide us with delicious fruit but also supplies us with beautiful and valuable timber. Mango wood is warm brown with fine wavy stripes within and curly or mottled grain patterns are also common. Common uses of mango timber are furniture, ukuleles, veneer, plywood, and turned objects. Mango wood is considered eco-friendly, as some mango farms harvest the trees for lumber after they have completed their fruit-bearing lifespan. The natural uniqueness in the woodgrain and timber colour variations, means that each wooden fountain pen we create is one of a kind.

This fountain pen is created by an artisan who hand turns each pen on a lathe in North Brisbane. Using a meticulous thirteen step sanding process and 10 coats of CA we highlight the simple, innate beauty of the mango timber.

The Classic fountain pen features 24kt gold plating and a tough iridium nib made in Germany. It has a threaded lid that can be effortlessly placed on the end of the pen so it never gets misplaced. The pen comes in a quality, black presentation case, or you can purchase a timber pen box below.

This pen uses fountain easily replaceable, black ink cartridges. The pen comes with one ink cartridge. (click here to buy extra fountain pen refills). It also features an environmentally friendly piston converter that allows you to refill your pen from bottled ink.

Need it personalised? We personalise timber pens, pencils and wooden pen boxes. Type the exact word or initials needed along with your font suggestion in the text box provided to a maximum of 25 letters and spaces for a pen. We will contact you to confirm your engraving prior to it being laser engraved. Please specify if the pen engraving is for a left or right hander.
