This Jedona rollerball is turned from eucalyptus timber. There are more than 700 species of eucalyptus trees and all but 15 are native to Australia. Australia is covered by 92,000,000 hectares of eucalypt forest. Eucalyptus timber is commonly used to make didgeridoos, a traditional wind instrument of indigenous Australians. The timber is honey brown coloured with dark brown striations through out. The eucalyptus timber in this pen is an unidentified species of eucalyptus. The warm honey brown timber contrasts beautifully with the gold jedona fittings.

This jedona style wooden rollerball pen is created by an artisan who hand turns each pen on a lathe in North Brisbane. Using a meticulous 10 step sanding and polishing process and 10 coats of CA we highlight the simple, innate beauty of the Australian eucalyptus timber. The natural uniqueness in the woodgrain and timber colour variations, means that each timber pen we create is one of a kind.

This stunning rollerball pen features gold fittings and a durable iridium point rollerball nib made in Germany. It also features a 12 facet pen grip and a centre band inlaid with a geometric pattern. The pen lid unscrews and the threaded lid can be effortlessly placed on the end of the pen so it never gets misplaced.
