Wooden Rollerball Pen - Purple Gidgee Timber (Jedona Style)

This Jedona rollerball is turned from purple gidgee timber. Purple gidgee timber is a rare Australian timber, it is highly sought after and truely spectacular turned on the lathe. The heartwood is medium to dark reddish-brown, burgundy coloured, sometimes with darker streaks. The sapwood is a deep yellow. Purple gidgee can significantly change colour with exposure to light, changing to a deep purple over time.  The natural uniqueness in the woodgrain and timber colour variations, means that each timber pen we create is one of a kind.

This Jedona timber rollerball pen is created by an artisan who turns each pen on a lathe in North Brisbane. Using a meticulous thirteen step sanding process and 10 coats of CA we highlight the simple, innate beauty of the purple gidgee timber.

This stunning rollerball features gold fittings and a durable iridium point rollerball nib made in Germany. It also features a 12 facet pen grip and a centre band inlaid with a geometric pattern. The pen lid unscrews and the threaded lid can be effortlessly placed on the end of the pen so it never gets misplaced. The pen comes in a quality, black presentation case or you can add an engrave-able timber box, option below.

This beautiful pen uses easily replaceable, rollerball refills and comes fitted with a premium black rollerball refill. You can buy additional rollerball refills below.
