Story Wood Collection: Recycled Tasmanian Oak Timber

This pen is turned from recycled Tasmanian oak timber. This Tasmanian oak timber has a story, it used to be a lounge chair. The wood is salvaged from a couch made by a craftsman in Maroochydore QLD in 1996. It was made for some newlywed adventurers who lived in 12 houses in 2 Australian states spanning 19 years and watched 3 kids grow from baby to adulthood. Sadly the couch broke. This timber carries within it lots of great family vibes, fun memories and meaningful conversations over coffee. Tassie oak is a warm, light toned Australian hardwood, it is dense and resilient with an even grain, a distinctive and beautiful wood.

Not only does the Harold rollerball pen look and feel amazing with its medium plus weight (60g), it has a timeless design quality. It feels perfectly balanced in the hand, and is pure pleasure to write with. The Harold features gold titanium plating which is extremely durable and has a bright yellow mirror finish appearance. It has a non-postable end cap, and a tough stainless steel tip with 0.6mm ceramic roller made in Germany.

This stunning pen uses easily replaceable rollerball refills. The pen comes with one premium black ink rollerball refill. You can purchase additional rollerball refills below.

This pen was created by an artisan who hand turned this pen on a lathe in North Brisbane. Using a meticulous thirteen step sanding process and 10 coats of CA we highlighted the simple, innate beauty of the timber and create an exceptional, super glossy and durable finish.
