Sierra Wooden Mechanical Pencil - Deep Yellow Wood Timber

This distinctive wooden Sierra pencil is created by an artisan who hand turns each pencil on a wood lathe in North Brisbane. Using a meticulous thirteen step sanding and polishing process and 10 coats of CA we highlight the simple, innate beauty of the Australian timber and create an exceptional and durable finish.

This Sierra style mechanical pencil has black and 24 karat gold plated fittings and features a click mechanism which reveals the pencil lead. It comes ready to draw with one 0.7mm pencil lead, you can find mechanical pencil refills here. It has an eraser at the end of the cap. To access the eraser, remove the end cap; to access the pencil lead chamber and add your refills, remove the eraser.

This pencil is created from deep yellow wood timber. Yes the timber really is called deep yellow wood due to its natural deep yellow colouration. Deep yellow wood is an Australian rainforest timber, it has a fine grain and may be attractively figured. The timber colour can vary from a light yellow to a deep amber yellow.

 This pen comes standard in a protective velvet pen sleeve. You can add a quality black presentation box or an engrave-able timber box below.

We will contact you to confirm your engraving prior to it being laser engraved. Please specify if the pencil engraving is for a left or right hander.
