Sierra Wooden Mechanical Pencil - Mango Timber

The Sierra is our signature range, a definitive, functional and popular writing and drawing instrument. It is the perfect gift pencil and popular for everyday use.

This pencil is created from mango timber. Not only does the mango tree provide us with delicious fruit but also supplies us with beautiful timber. Mango wood is a warm brown with fine wavy stripes within it. This mango timber pen makes the perfect Aussie gift for a mango lover. The woodgrain and timber colour variations, means that each wooden pencil we create is one of a kind.

This distinctive wooden pencil is created by an artisan who hand turns each pencil on a wood lathe in North Brisbane. Using a meticulous thirteen step sanding process and 10 coats of CA we highlight the simple, innate beauty of the mango timber and create an exceptional, super shiny and durable finish.

This Sierra style mechanical pencil has black and 24 karat gold plated fittings and features a click mechanism which reveals the pencil lead. It comes ready to draw with one 0.7mm pencil lead, you can find mechanical pencil refills here. It has an eraser at the end of the cap. To access the eraser, remove the end cap; to access the pencil lead chamber and add your refills, remove the eraser.

This pencil comes standard in a protective velvet sleeve. You can add a quality black presentation box or an engrave-able timber box below.
