Mackay Cedar (paraserianthes toona) is a boutique Australian timber which has rich, dark red timber with striking yellow streaks causing a striated pattern on the longitudinal surface. The striking red timber contrasts beautifully with the gold jedona fittings.
This jedona style wooden rollerball pen is created by an artisan who hand turns each pen on a lathe in North Brisbane. Using a meticulous thirteen step sanding process and 10 coats of CA we highlight the simple, innate beauty of the Australian Mackay Cedar timber. The natural uniqueness in the woodgrain and timber colour variations, means that each timber pen we create is one of a kind.
This stunning rollerball pen features gold fittings and a durable iridium point rollerball nib made in Germany. It also features a 12 facet pen grip and a centre band inlaid with a geometric pattern. The pen lid unscrews and the threaded lid can be effortlessly placed on the end of the pen so it never gets misplaced.
